I was fortunate enough to meet most of these lovely folk when Lynne & James tied the knot but there were a few family members from afar who couldn’t make their wedding so when it happened that they would all be in South Africa – the Australians & Americans too – and all in Hermanus at one time Lynne & Bri decided it was an opportunity not to be missed and I couldn’t be more thrilled that they called on me to do so…. so off I zooted over the mountain early Sunday morning to catch this lot at their best and boy they didn’t disappoint. Moore’s, Ainslie, Kirk’s & Gaydon’s you are a very special bunch and gorgeous to boot! Thank you Bri & Ian for your hospitality and for providing us with such a magic space in which to spend the morning.
Despite the fact that I capture moments for my clients – there is always heartfelt reward in my sessions that I take away with me. There were many such moments on this particular day with so many different dynamics but one of them stood out the most for me – as luck would have it, as I had all the adult siblings on the couch ready for their magic moment, I needed a card change…. so off I scurry, do my thing, back in a flash only for us all to realize – when was the last time they were all on a couch together – sitting still, having a laugh – just for kicks? Sometimes as luck would have it, we are given stolen moments – so precious and at the time, we don’t always realize just how spectacular they are!
Here’s to an absolutely gorgeous family – enjoy!
